Attendance reporting and setup

Maybe, if the name of each sesion has the date (), the report will show it.

My colleague and I presented at FUSION last year on an attendance widget that we built internally. We've had requests since from other D2L schools on how to implement it into their own environments. It's not an easy task, since it was build custom for our environment.

HOWEVER...Bob has since built it as a "third-party" integration tool that would work like any other third-party add-on (think ReadSpeaker) that will also write to the gradebook. He's working on the D2L partner agreement to be able to offer this, hopefully by summer.

It also has a reporting feature that can be exported from the tool into a CSV file. The widget also gives an "at a glance" view of progress as well. It is used frequently by our dual-credit courses since the high schools need to have that daily report of attendance.

I'll post back here when he's ready to take beta testers for the program.
