Grades: Internal Error

I was going to suggest that it might have been a permissions error of some kind, but it sounds like he did have access to Grades before. If you're an ASC, it might be best to open a case (or ask your ASC to do so).

Hi all,
We (at Minnesota State) experience this issue on an intermittent basis. According to D2L, the issue occurs after reordering and/or deleting a larger number of grade items from the 'Manage Grades' screen. This causes the 'Enter Grades' screen to be out-of-synch and an internal error message displays.
Here's our workaround and resolution:
- Workaround: Copy the OU # of the affected course, go to a good course and navigate to the 'Manage Grades' screen, at the end of the URL replace the OU# with the one you copied, press enter, now you can access the 'Manage Grades' screen in the affected course.
- Resolution: From Manage Grades in the affected course, click More Actions > Reorder, click save without making any changes. You should now be able to access the Enter Grades page in the affected course.

Hi Olly!
Yes, the said teacher has permission and access to Grades. Thanks for your suggestion.
