Why am I unable to view posts on bright space?

Options
When I open up brightspace and click on a classroom, all I see is a cut up fixed post that will not let me scroll and super tiny. I tried everything(at least anything I could think of). Inspect element, disabling pop-up blocker and ad blocker, nothing works. It is an unaccesible block that will only let me copy and paste the words hidden inside that I cannot see. It really bothers me that I have to ask my friends simply to download the work my teacher posts. What if I did not have friends? I would not be able to keep up in class. Someone please fix this. Since it is kind of hard to picture, well, I'm going to send a picture.I might as well be non-existent. HOW DO I FIX THIS???

    Hi Timothy

    Sorry you are having problems.

The issue you are having could occur for a number of reasons.

One of the quickest ways to work around it in the short term might be to try using Firefox, if you are able to install that browser on your computer.

To work out why it is failing in your installation of Chrome here are some things you do to help us understand why it might be breaking:

    1. Are you using Mac or Windows?
    2. Let us know what exact version of Chrome you have (Settings > About Chrome)
    3. Temporarily disable any Chrome Extensions you have running (More Tools > Extensions) and reload the page. If it works with all extensions disabled, try enabling each one at a time and reloading to see if a particular extension is causing issues.
    4. If 3) doesn't help, open up the Chrome developer tools Console prior to loading the Brightspace course home page (Ctrl-Shift-J). Reload the Brightspace course home page, and let us know if you see any Errors reported in the left hand panel. You don't need to post them here yet. Just let us know if you see any Errors/Warnings and how many.

Thanks so much! Your idea of removing/disabling my extensions fixed the problem! I'm not sure what cause it, but after I turned of all of them and returned them on, it -for some reason- fixed! Thanks! By the way, I'm a windows 8.1 with a Version 81.0.4044.129 (Official Build) (64-bit) google chrome.
