It is a widget and allows for direct access to Office 365 materials such as email, calendar and documents. The widget is intended as a convenience tool for users rather than a replacement for tools available within the Brightspace environment. It is not integrated to the email process in Brightspace. e.g mailing from the classlist would not open the teachers office365 Outlook for example, Brightspace would still use the eMail form.
