Navbar: Limit Custom Link Group to specific roles?

I'd like to create a link group (dropdown menu) for teachers and another one for parents, but I cannot figure out how to hide them from students.

Currently you can't add release conditions to Link Groups. You will have to limit each individual custom link to a specific role. Then the other roles won't see that link in the menu.

Ah yes, I just noticed that if a user has no permissions to see any of the links, the group (dropdown menu) will be hidden. Thanks!
