Why do I get Admin powers when my screen resizes?

When I transition from normal layout to the compact mobile one, the navigation menu is relocated into the upper left (button with three lines), but the relocated menu had "Admin Tools" added which allows me to change other user's logins and names. I am a teacher and normally do not have such powers. When it resizes and the navigation menu is expanded back to normal I do not have "Admin Tools".

    Admin tools is the widget icon to the right of your image and name on the top right side of the normal screen. You might have those rights in normal view also. But this is something you should bring up to your school admins. They will need to fix the permission rights for that role.
