D2L is changing the way you access your Brightspace Test site. Specifically, test sites that have very low usage will be set to 'hibernate' after a period of disuse. Your Test site will still be available to use as usual, you will just have to 'wake it up' first - a process that takes less than 5 minutes. How do I access my Brightspace Test site? Please continue to access your test site at the same URL that you have always used. Instead of seeing the login page, you will first see a page letting you know that your test site is hibernating. Simply click the 'Wake me up' button and your site will be reinstated within 3- 5 minutes. Will anything on my Test site be different? No, your Test site will wake up in exactly the same state it was when you last used it. It will not be refreshed (cloned) from Production. All your test site data, files, configuration, branding will be exactly the same since you last used the site. Please note that your Test site will continue to receive updates to the latest version via Continuous Delivery updates, per the usual schedule. Will my site hibernate again? Your Test site will hibernate again after 48 hours of no activity. Activity means any user activity, including logging in. I have more questions and concerns, who can I speak to? Please contact your Customer Success Manager the D2L Helpdesk with any follow up questions or concerns
