Advisor relationship through IPSIS

Has anybody created XML in postman for creating student to advisor relationship? Could you please provide correct syntax for postman?

Hi @Anuja Kulkarni​ , FYI - since you posted - Advisor (i am translating into Brightspace Auditor) is now possible via our D2L Standard CSV File format 2.0 (recently released) so it can now be done via SIS integration if that is the type being used by your team.

 

How did you go in the end? Were you able to successfully use our API's to setup the Advisor/Auditor : Auditee relationships?

Hi @Anuja Kulkarni​ , the D2L Standard CSV is not an API route -its the SIS CSV integration - Its an alternative to using API if your team is already using D2L Standard CSV. (Read more about D2L Standard CSV and this useful blog about how to identify if your team is already using it)

 

For more questions about using tools like postman, resources about our API's etc - I would recommend joining the developer group https://community.brightspace.com/s/group/0F9610000001mZ1CAI/developers - there is a wealth of information available there. Its more suited to more technical area designed for passionate application developers to share their knowledge.
