Where is the permission to let Learners access inactive courses?

I'm reading this thread, What all does the "Course is active" checkbox control or affect?, and I can't find a permission to let users access inactive courses. What's the terminology for the permission? I tried searching all tools for "inactive" and "deactive" but can't find them.

@Maureen Barrow Looks like it's under Course Access Options in the settings for a role: https://community.brightspace.com/generic/s/question/0D55W000006iQcgSAE/is-it-possible-to-change-the-end-date-of-a-course-for-one-specific-student-at-a-time-we-sometimes-have-students-reach-out-for-a-little-more-time-because-they-arent-going-to-be-able-to-finish-the-course

If anyone else is lost, to access the Course Access Options, you need to edit the SETTINGS of a role, not the Permissions.
