Can we assign 1 grade item to multiple knowledge tests?

So the situation is that: We have a course running on D2L for 6 cohorts by 6 different instructors, which have been setup as sections. There are around 18 tests which are being conducted for each cohort. The tests are the same, but they go live at different times and to make things easier, what I have done is create categories for each cohort and copy the KTs into them. But now, I see that I can assign a grade item to only one of the tests for one cohort. For e.g. When I set assigned a grade item to Test 1 for Cohort 1, it does not show up in the options for Test 1 for Cohort 2. Any workaround? This is a bit urgent.. any suggestion would be helpful. TIA

Each grade item can only be used once.

You could use the special access feature in the test to give the assessment to different people on different dates. Then you only need 1 copy of the test.

Thanks Jonathan. Our instructors just decided to enter the grades manually. Each have 10 students so it was not too cumbersome.
