What's Covered in Session 1?
Session 1 November 4th 10am ET 2021: Strategic Planning for Effective Brightspace Use
This session will focus on the first few activities in the “Building Your Learning Strategy Roadmap” course including:

- Understanding the value of Strategic Planning
- Identifying the ideal future for learning at your organization
- Write a 1-2 sentence vision statement to describe this ideal future
- Communicating the Project Purpose
- Write a purpose statement for your learning technology project
Complete the activities required to gain access to session 2 in session 1!
How to Unlock the Second Ticket?
- Attend session 1 and complete the following, or work through them independently
- Minimum completion of “Activities 2-5” will grant access to Session 2

This session will focus on the final units in the “Building Your Learning Strategy Roadmap” course including:

- Identifying your business objectives and what learning interventions support them
- Determining the success criteria and metrics for each learning intervention
- Developing a plan for communicating results to organizational stakeholders
- Breaking your project into phases with specific goals
- Choosing the tactics to achieve your goals
- Choosing the Brightspace tool to enable execution on your tactics
