A learning strategy roadmap is a great resource to align your stakeholders around a common goal. Your roadmap should clearly articulate your organization’s vision for learning, state the purpose of your learning technology project, identify a path to drive adoption of your new platform, and call out specific goals and milestones along that path. This roadmap allows everyone in your organization to clearly understand where you’re going and how you will get there. It will also allow you to monitor your performance against specific success criteria to make sure you’re on track to accomplish your objectives.
Course Contents
This course is made up of 6 units. Each unit is focused on a specific part of your learning strategy roadmap. As you go through each unit, there are reflections and activities built into the course that will help you to build each component of your own roadmap as you go. If you prefer to complete the activities and reflections outside of the course, there is a downloadable document in the first module that you can use instead.

At the end of the course, there is a template where you can combine the parts of the roadmap that you’ve built throughout the course into a single document that can be shared with internal and external stakeholders, including your D2L team.

Reflection Tool Information
As you go through the course, you will notice that many of the course activities use a tool that allows users to provide responses in content and that Activity #9 “Document your Plan” allows you to generate a list of all prior responses submitted to previous activities.
*Note* There may be a brief delay as the Reflection Tool loads on the page. It will save your response, for you to return to at any time.

The tool used to create this experience is a custom content interactive created by the D2L Learning & Creative Services team called the “Reflection Tool”. This tool can be used to capture and re-purpose learner responses in regular content topics. User responses are saved into an associated assignment folder. Only one input field can be placed on a topic page, but numerous previous responses can be referenced. A page can also be configured to aggregate any number of previous responses into a report and allow for a downloadable copy of it.
