Questions about course content/expectations:
If you have any questions regarding content in your course or the course expectations:
- Contact your Instructor.
Instructor emails are generally available in Course Outline/Syllabus:
- Select Content.
- The location of the instructor's email may vary from course to course, but it is generally one of the first items.
Instructor emails are also available in the Classlist:
- Select on Course Tools from the navigation bar.
- Select Classlist.
- Locate the Instructor using the Role column.
- Selecting the instructor's name launches Brightspace's Course Mail tool.

Course content is not available:
If you are unable to locate the Content tool in the course:

Check the Course Outline/Syllabus and/or Announcements.
- Are there any prerequisites for viewing the content?
- If yes, complete the prerequisites.

If there are no prerequisites, or you have met the prerequisites, and the content is not available:
- Contact your Instructor, so they can make the content available.
- Ensure you are using a recommended and updated browser (Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)
- ?If the problem persists, please select the CHAT WITH AN EXPERT button in the bottom right of this page.

"Not Authorized" or "Page Not Found" error when attempting to access a content item:

Check whether the link is for one of the Course Tools (Discussions, Quizzes, etc).
- If yes, go to that tool directly, using the links at the top of the page, in the navbar.
- Locate and access the content item.
- Once accessed, go back to the content link, and check if the link works.
- If the issue persists, contact your instructor so they know to update the link.
- If the item cannot be found, check the Syllabus and course news to verify whether the item is part of the course. Contact the instructor. The instructor will have to investigate why the item is not available. Advise the instructor to use the CHAT WITH AN EXPERT button in the bottom right of this page.

"File Not Found" error when selecting a content item:

This error can occur if the item was either deleted or was not imported into the course:
- Contact the instructor to notify them of the issue.
- The instructor must locate the file and upload it. If the instructor requires assistance, they can use the CHAT WITH AN EXPERT button in the bottom right of this page.
