- Go to the course.
- Select Grades.
- Your Final Grade is displayed at the top of the page.
Note: Instructors may not release final grades in Brightspace. Contact your instructor if your final grade is available.

Your final grade is incorrect
The grade in the Brightspace and in your transcript may differ if your instructor has enabled Drop ungraded items.
- This setting ignores ungraded items when displaying your final grade in Brightspace
- This may cause your grade to appear higher in Brightspace than your transcript if you have incomplete assignments.
Contact your instructor if you have any questions or concerns regarding your final grade.

You are unable to see your grade in the Grade Book
Your grades are only available in the Brightspace once your instructor has published them.
If the instructor has stated that the grade should be available:
- Contact your instructor and inform them that your grade is not available
- Instructors can contact Brightspace support if they require assistance making grades visible

Your grade says Dropped
This could happen for the following reasons:
- The Instructor decided to drop the highest and/or lowest grade item in this category.
- The Instructor decided to drop this assignment so it is not calculated as part of your final grade.
Contact your instructor for more information on why your grade was dropped.
