Select your Browser
Latest versions of the following browsers are supported:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari (Supports D2L Drag * Drop)
Google Chrome
- On your browser toolbar, click the Chrome menu
- In the box that appears, click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files
- Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete
- Choose beginning of time to delete everything
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser
Mozilla Firefox
Clear the cache
- Click the menu button
and choose Options. - Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data….

- Remove the check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data.
- With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button.
- Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
Automatically clear the cache
You can set Firefox to automatically clear the cache when Firefox closes:
- Click the menu button
and choose Options. - Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- In the History section, set Firefox will to Use custom settings for history.
- Select the check box for Clear history when Firefox closes.

- Beside Clear history when Firefox closes, click the Settings… button. The Settings for Clearing History window will open.
- In the Settings for Clearing History window, put a check mark next to Cache.

- Click OK to close the Settings for Clearing History window.
- Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

To clear the browser history (including cookies and cache) in Microsoft Edge, use one of the following steps.

Safari (MAC)
Safari - Clearing Cache and Cookies
- Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences. (+)
- In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data.... (+)
- Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears. (+)
Safari (Supports D2L Drag * Drop)
Launch Safari 7.
- Go to Safari Preferences>Advanced>Select Show Develop menu in menu bar:

- Go to the Develop drop-down menu and select Empty Caches:
