Accessing Quizzes & Feedback

Select the issue:

You are unable to click Start Quiz

Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Verify the Quiz Start Date or End Date.
- You are unable to start the quiz until the Start Date is reached.
- Additionally, the quiz is not accessible after its End Date.
If the quiz should currently be visible, contact your Instructor.

A Quiz in your course is not visible

No Quizzes Available

Quizzes in your course may not be visible for the following reasons:

The Quiz is not active:
- Quizzes that are set as inactive cannot be accessed by students.
The Quiz's End Date has passed:
- Depending on your institution's settings, past quizzes may no longer show in your Quiz tool.

In either case, contact your Instructor if you believe you should have access to the Quiz.

You are unable to access the next attempt for my quiz

The next quiz attempt cannot be accessed until the previous attempt has been submitted.

Check the Attempts Column for the Quiz
- A red dot beside the Attempts numerator indicates that an attempt is in progress:
Click on the Quiz.
Select Continue Quiz to complete and submit the attempt.

The denominator indicates how many attempts are allowed.
- If you have reached this number of attempts, further attempts are not possible.

Check the Start/End Date for the Quiz.
If you require additional attempts, or an extension on the Quiz availability, contact your Instructor.
If you have not reached the maximum number of attempts, and the Start/End Dates have not been reached, but still cannot access the quiz, contact us for assistance:

How to view your past Quiz submissions

There are two ways to view the results of your Quiz, although your institution may limit your access to these tools:

Please note that your instructor determines what is/isn't visible in the submission view.

From the Quiz List:

Select Submissions from Dropdown

From the Progress Tool:

Select Progress Tool

If you are unable to select the attempt, this means that your Instructor has not yet scored it.
It becomes accessible once the Instructor publishes your grade.
