I have questions about content in my course / course expectations
If you have any questions regarding content in your course, or the course expectations:
- Contact your Instructor:
- Their email can be found within the course Syllabus, or the Classlist:
- Course Syllabus:
- This can often be found in Content, either in Overview, or in the first Module in your course.
- It's placement may vary from course to course.
- Classlist:
- Click on Show Search Options.

- Under Role, select Instructor.

- Hit the
Search button. - Alternatively:
- You can look at the Role column, and find the row where it lists Instructor.

My course's Content is not visible
Please follow these steps if you are unable to locate a content item in your course:
- Check the Syllabus and/or your Instructor's announcements.
- Do they mention any prerequisites for viewing the content?
- If yes, make sure you have met the prerequisites.
- If either no prerequisites have been met, or you have met the requirements, and the content is still not visible:
- Please Contact your Instructor, as they will have to make the content visible.
- If your Instructor has attempted to resolve the issue, but you are still encountering the issue:

The content shows "Not Authorized" or "Page Not Found"

Please follow these steps if you are encountering a Not Authorized error when accessing a content link:
- Check whether the link is to a course tool (Assignments, Discussions, Exams, etc)
- If yes:
- Go to that tool directly:
- Discussions:
- Click on Discussions.

- Locate the linked item.
- Exams, Assignments, Surveys, Checklists:
- Click on Activities.

- Click on the appropriate Tool.

- Locate the linked item
- Once accessed, go back to the content link, and check if the link works.
- If the error still occurs, Contact your instructor.
- They will have to update the link.
- If the item cannot be found:
- Check the Syllabus and course news to verify whether the item has a Start Date.
- If yes, the item may not be visible until that date has been reached.
- Contact your instructor
- They will have to investigate why the item isn't visible.
- If no:
- Contact your Instructor
- They will have to investigate why the link isn't working.
- Please advise them to contact us directly if they have any questions.

I receive a "File Not Found" error when click on a content item

This error can occur if the item was either deleted, or was not imported into the course:
- Please Contact your Instructor to notify them of the issue.
- They will have to look into the issue to try and locate the file.
- If they are unsure on how to resolve it, they will have to contact us directly for assistance.
